A banner for the BSB? Or drop 20 points and get a couple of spawn in to hold up flankers.

I'm not huge fan of Knights, but if they work for you. Run them. I run a unit of 18x Khorne Warriors with halberd/shield. They tend to be a glass cannon, but have won me many games.

My list is similar to yours with the 24 HW/S Tzeentch Warriors, 50 GW Khorne Marauders, and BSB.

I run a Sorcerer Lord because at 2000, the Level 4s start to come out and play in greater numbers. What level is your Shadow Sorcerer, Lvl 2? Good call on running hounds because they are invaluable at hunting warmachines and redirecting charges, especially Ogres. I usually don't run Champions in my unit since the points usually aren't worth 1 attack. I only run them to protect a Sorcerer from the challenge WoC rule. A BSB can usually soak a challenge from most anybody, especially if your throw Stream of Corruption on him.

With your list, I would make the following suggestions for the 90 pts
++ Switch Banner of Rage -> Blasted Standard to get you Knights (a fire magnet) a better ward against shooting - 5 pts
++ Get a power familiar on your Sorcerer to get another power die (Shadow is an expensive lore). Alternatively, I would also suggest the Infernal Puppet to protect yourself from nuking your Chaos Warriors with miscast templates. You can't have both - 25 or 25 pts
++ Get you Warriors a magical banner, I run the War Banner since this big block can sometimes whiff in combat. The CR of a banner, warbanner, and BSB can swing combats in your favor alone. - 35 pts
++ Finally, I like Stream of Corruption or Blood Curdling Roar. Stream of Corruption to win challenges against scary things like characters. Blood Curdling roar isn't so hot when not riding a disc, but it has saved my bacon when facing things like Mangler Squigs or Goblin Fanatics. I would suggest Stream over Roar for you - 20 pts

    That's about 80 points.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. The sorcerer is a level 4 lord sorry i should have put that. Like the banner ideas too.
Thoughts on the 50 marauders i could do most of the stuff suggested and still add 10 more if i trim the champs. Would 2 units of 30maruders work or are they to small?

Re: WoC 2000 90 pts to spend

2 x 30 is too small for 2000. With my block of 50, it is not unusual for 15-20 to be dead before they get to combat AND get a chance to swing back in CC with Always Strikes Last from great weapons. If you go small than 50, you will lose attacks. Bigger than 50 is obsessive, but would make more sense than 2 x 30.

Don't run a magical banner on your BSB because than you will lack magical weapons/armor. You can't have both.

Also, you are smart to have a magical weapon on every character. Vampire Counts mess you up if you don't have a magical attack in a unit. Knights help a lot with ethereal, too.

Switch the BSB's weapon to the Shrieking Blade (Big Rule Book) because it makes him cause Fear, which in turn makes the unit immune to Fear and Terror is now Fear. You would be surprised how many Fear tests I have failed off Ld 8 rerollable. Ogres can mess you up at WS 1.

I would just swap rage fpr blasted and add 2 more knights and 1 marauder, and as to what gigawatt said the majority of a unit has to have a rule for it to apply, so fear on a char only causes fear to a unit, it doesnt grant immunity to fear to your own unit, not a bad list over all though

I personally am no longer taking warriors in my wariior lists, to expensive for what u get. good luck

My mistake then. I swear that I always find a new rule in Fantasy. How does the Crown of Command give a unit stubborn then? Does the item description specifically say "unit?"

Im actually a fan of the dogs... They will allow you to redirect charges and if they have a gunline they have to deal with dogs or allow them free access to the gunline.

Dogs are, dare-I-say, necessary for 3 reasons.
    1) Games are won on deployment, sometimes, and they are cheap, early drops.
    2) They present gun-lines with no-win situations. Shoot my dogs or my warriors, either way, you are getting charged next turn.
    3) Throw them in front of scary enemy units to either trick them to charge and expose a flank or absorb impact hits.

The only downside to dogs is having them get wiped and panic a non-Immune to Psych unit. Just keep them over 5 inches away from non-Khorne/Stupid stuff.

I run 2 x 5 Dogs at any points level.
