In an army is it possible to field a vindacare Ass and say a Caladus Ass in the same list or is it one assassin per list .?

Each type of Assassin is Unique and can only be taken once, but I don't see anything preventing you from taking different types in the same list.

Yeah, the old list had a single 'assassin' entry which you upgraded to a particular temple; the new one just has four separate entries, one for each of the four temples currently described for tabletop use.

not bad, I ran with the callidus, vindacare, and the cluexus, the cluexus had my interpretation with 15 psykers running near him. so he had 19 str 5 ap2 shots going, the callidus was meh, but the vindicare with the techmarine took alot of fire power.

I won it, against a strong dragio wing.

I count four Elites also. Callidus, Culexus, Vindicare, Techmarine. Though if your codex says one of those is an HQ I'll give you fifty dollars for it.

The techmarine was from a ally playing in the game, one of those partner type things. I was assuming he was talking about the psykers, and hadn't even remembered the techmarine mention.

If you mean the Vindicare with the Techmarine IC joined/attached to him (which is how I'm reading 'with'), just thought I'd point out that ICs cannot join an assassin as the assassin is a unit that always consists of a single model.

Gotcha, fortified ruin for a 3+, assassin stealth for a 2+.

And not only pointless but illegal, which was the point I was trying to get across.

Him being with him as a unit, which would be pointless, the +2 cover save seems pretty important and worthwhile... =P

It'd be pointless, even if you could, to have a the techmarine join his unit.
