Hey Guys, The following is my list for Duel Con. So far I have played it against IG, Vanilla Marines and Space wolves. I am intending on running it against Mono-Khorne Deamons tomorrow. I would like to know if any body has any useful tips on how I may cut the list and possibly add more bodies.40K Army: Dark Eldar
Here it goes:
-Archon w/ Husk Blade, Blaster, Ghostplate Armor, Shadow field and Combat Drugs.
-Heamonculus Ancient w/ Hex Rifle, scissorhand, casket of Flensing, and Archangle of Pain.
-Heamonculus w/ Husk Blade, Liquifier gun and Vexator Mask.
-5 Hekatrix Blood brides w/ a Syren with an Agoniser, blast pistol, and Phantasm Grenade Launcher. The squad has Hydra Gauntlets. They are in a venom with Night Shield, Grisley trophies and I replaced the twin-linked splinter rifles with a splinter cannon. (These Gals cruise around and hit targets of opportunity. they cruise around the flanks and look for juicy defenseless weapon teams and other less fortunate long range shooters that don't hold well in combat.)
-10 Kabalite Warriors with a Sybarite, w/ a power weapon. Sqd has a Splinter Cannon. They have a Raider with a flickerfield, Night Shield, Splinter Racks, and Torment Grenade Launchers, and envenomed blades. (These Guys cruise around in the raider and I typically get 24 shots that are twin linked with the splinter racks. The torment grenades have helped when I caused break tests to the units from shooting)
-10 Kabalite warriors, Sybarite has a Power Weapon. Sqd has a Dark Lance. (These guys are my Daisy Pickers and they Pretty much just take pot shots with the Dark lance. So far they havent seen much combat asside from the run in with the wolf terminators, whem they barely survived thanks to intervention from the Archon and the Bloodbrides)
-20 Kabalite Warriors, Sybarite has an agoniser and phantasm Grenade Launcher. The squad has 2 splinter cannons and a Shredder. (These guys are typically acompanied by the Heamonculus Ancient. They run forward and shoot alot, they can handle themselves quite well in close combat. but they are mostly for use as a distraction)
-15 Wyches, Hekatryx w/ power weapon. sqd has 3 hydragauntlets(these Gals are acompanied by the Archon and the remaining Heamonculus. they are my secondary hard hitter and they take on the flanks. I have had a 6 on my combat drugs roll once. and they ended up beginning the game with 3 pain tokens. it was devastating to the imperial guardsmen that they encountered)
-Ravager w/ night Shield, flickerfields, torment grenade launchers and grisley trophies
-Ravager w/ night Shield, flickerfields, torment grenade launchers and grisley trophies(the ravagers typically roll as a pair but I have separated them when necessary, but they are my primary vehicle killers "surprise surprise")
-10 Scourges, Solarite has a venom blade. Sqd has 2 heat lances and 2 splinter cannons. (these guys are mostly to poor fire on those pesky units that need alot of fire to kill them. The heat lances due really well as tank killers and they are also good to hit those terminators along with all the fire from the rest)
Thats my list guys. I mostly want to focus on cutting useless upgrades. the biggest problems I have encountered is bad rolling and losing entire units to sweeping advance. also I keep losing the scourges to close combat. Any advice you can give I will enjoy. This list is up to a lot of work till september and I am painting the entire army from the ground up. I have extra models to include, 5 incubi, 15 reaver jet bikes, 5 more wyches and 2 more raiders. I pretty much refuse to remove night shields and flicker fields from my vehicles. I love them way to much and they have saved me to many times.
