40K Army: Chaos

Ok I have a tournament coming up in a week and this is the list that I am going to take.

Kharn
Sorcerer-MoS, Lash of Submission, Personal Icon (Rides with Plaguemarines)

Berzerkers 8+Champ with Power Fist
Plaguemarines 7+Champ with Power Fist. 2 Plasmaguns. Rhino-Dozer Blade and Combi-Plasma.
CSM squad 8 normal, 1 Lascannon, 1 Plasmagun. Rhino-Dozer Blade and Combi-Plasma

Land Raider-Daemonic Possession

Ok. Kharn and Berzerkers riding around in Land Raider wreaking havoc. Sorcerer rides with Plaguemarines to help them claim objectives and give a little bit of CC support. Terminators are there to drop either around the Land Raider or the Plaguemarine Rhino, whichever needs their assistance more. The normal squads are there to help with objectives while laying down some ranged anti-tank. The reason why I put Combi-Plasma's on all the Rhino's was because I have noticed that there have been several instances in which they would have been a huge help but I had went cheap and not gotten them. The Chosen are there to come in on the sides and hopefully rip up some tanks rear armor.

I have another Land Raider and a Vindicator that I could use as Heavy Support. I don't have any Obliterators.

I too would like to see some heavy unit in there. While you race across the table, the only means of long-range-suppression fire you have is the Land Raider. A Vindicator would probably be your best choice

But it looks like you've got a good list. Have you thought about splitting your 6-man termi squad into 2x3? Would give you smaller units but allow you to DS them into two different positions. Makes them more vulnerable, agreed.

I tried the Vindicator in a game about a week ago in the first incarnation of this list. That one had 2 land raiders in it but the Vindicator actually accomplished nothing. It moved out, fired, scattered off the target and then died the next turn. If I had 3 of them, I would run them instead and change up the army but since I only have the one Vindi I am hesitant to play it by itself. The idea of the army is to have a mobile army that doesn't have to sit on the other side of the board to be effective. I must admit that if I had Obliterators, I would play them instead but sadly I don't. The way I figure if I am rushing at them, flanking, and deep striking a pretty good size squad terminator squad then my opponent is going to be caught off guard as how to setup his army and where to move it when the game starts.
