Chaos Gate Patches - Where can I get them?

Hello,
I'm trying to get Chaos Gate to run on Windows 7, just unearthed my copy and fancied a blast. It runs ok for a while but it keeps crashing mid-mission and I don't have the patches that might fix this. There are several links around but all the ones I tried are dead.

Does anyone know how or where I can get these? There was a 1.1 and 1.2 patch, but I read that you only need 1.2

I tried to run it once on Windows XP and had only problems with that; what I remember from forums research I did is it required fiddling with game settings of the game engine rather than applying the path - path to laspistol firing sound fire was wrong, but did work on computers where file names were not case sensitive. I gave it up back then.

Making it work may be as simple as that and running in Win95 compability mode...

Not as bad as the Space Hulk 2 which flat refused to run unless system was genuine Win 95...

This page has a working link to some zip archive supposedly with 1.2 patch. May try myself if it works...

Thanks for that, much appreciated. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, hopefully get some time this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

I used to play it on XP, worked fine. I think that was with the patch though.

Played the first mission without a hitch. Patch installed and compatibility set to XP service pack 3, no other options ticked (colours, screen resolution)
