Oh my, that certainly told me.....heh.... oh wait, no it didn't.
I did read it,not much to see.

"Do you use the number on the bottom of the die to determine your rolls? Because the book doesn't discuss that the top is the correct side to read, either. Some things are just THAT obvious."
Well, what you said was already stated several posts back... but since it's not much to see I guess your post is not much either...
I read it like this: Grand Illusion lets you redeploy X units. Redeploy is a different thing, a different word, from deploys, which is when the Deathmarks get to mark a unit. Therefore you only get to mark a unit when they are deployed, not redeployed.
The disembarking thing...that's silliness.
So if I redeploy i may put my units anywhere I want on the table, because placement restrictions apply to deployment and not redeployment?
Getting too picky on the wording leads to this kind of nonsense.

It's silly to believe that any type of "deployment" counts. If redploying counts, then so does VoD as do disembarking. If you are going to take anything besides the first deployment the unit does. You do not get to pick and choose which. It's all or nothing.
Deployment using GI has the same result as usual deployment in all regards. "Deploying" using VoD or disembarking is a completely different thing.
Anyway I am defending a completely useless trick. Chances to see it used from an experienced player is below zero.
So,if ic decide to put them in Reserve i would not place a marker, right? With GI i can choose to deploy them normally afterwards. So no counter for me,because redeploy is =/=deploy?
My point was that people are picky about every single word. That's the whole argument of RAW vs RAI isn't it? And most people seem to believe we must play RAW and argue tooth and nail for it.
I am a RAI player. My post was simply to demonstrate some RAW silliness, as well as state my position on the topic that you only get one hunters marker per game.
