I'm not a real fan of the GW model, due to its retarded material and size. However it does look better than this outing, still this one probably only will cost 3/5th of what GW ask.
I like neither.

I don't really like either. Hate the GW faces, but these guys have creepy legs!
I'm a bit bored with obvious GW stand in models. I'd rather just go a similar sized, but totally different, monster model to substitute.
And a soft drink that can turn you into a Largazoid?

I'm waiting for Warplock Monkey to release his second death kiwi, and that'll be my manglers
nah, there's a few people like you, but usually they hide(just kidding
). GW's manglers have way too tiny legs, and these ones have way too big legs. Looks bad in both cases, imho (well the GW one is a crisp model nonetheless, this one is crude as hell. I sure hope it's cheaper >>).
I'll no doubt get the GW one eventually, but that's because I'm a compulsive greenskin collector.

I liked your tomatoes!
Mmm... Am I the only one who thinks the GW version is really good looking?
Armies I play:
Ogre kingdoms
Zombie pirates
Skaven
Slayers
A mate of mine makes these:
Both the mangler and the regular squigs (there are 5 different squig poses).

ATM he's just selling to friends, but the reception has been quite good, so they'll probably end up somewhere.
PM if interested, he'll probably love some international interest![]()

Fair enough point. Consider my last comment withdrawn.
Well if GW did not overprice certain units people would less likely sell alternate versions. Also if it wasn't for people making alternatives GW would be able to overprice things even further. If the two products are similar price & quality then yes I'd probably buy GW model, but if I feel something is overpriced then I don't see anything wrong with using alternatives.

Wow.
It's as if someone has just decided to abandon all attempts at creativity, and just pinch someone elses ideas...
