Urgat's Armory v0.3 [Blood in the Badlands Siege options]
Yup. L'Anguille is specifically noted as having cannon to defend its watchtowers. (That's not to say that Bordelaux and Brionne don't, of course). The city of L'Anguille itself is pretty much run by the merchant families, because the Duke has no interest in the sea and never visits the city. Marienburgers seem to think that the city is trying to model itself on them (KotG has a quote from a sailor saying that he's heard some of the merchants want to dam the river so they can have their own swamp - it's not clear whether this is sarcastic).

That looks like a fan-made map made by pasting together the various maps from the WFRP sourcebooks. It doesn't look bad but the projection is off. Norsca should, I think, be proportionally smaller than it appears, and the gap between it and Bretonnia larger.
I don't think there are any maps of Bretonnia in Tamurkhan: the maps in there are good but only cover the regions that Tamurkhan and co. traverse.
I ask as they have 4 Norse dwarf holds, which as far as i know is 3 too many.

All those holds are on the map in Tome of Corruption. I imagine they're just holds sufficiently small they're not worth mentioning most of the time.
Looking at the map more closely I think they've pasted together the maps of Bretonnia and the Empire from the relevant WFRP books then completed the rest of it themselves using existing maps for the geographical data. This would explain why the Bretonnian and Empire legends are both in a slightly different font and at an angle compared to the rest of the map.

Not really any maps of great detail apart from towns/cities along with route lines of invasion. Pretty nice map of the Border Princes and the entry to the Empire through Winters Teeth Pass (with also showing the Black Mountains) but aside from that not a great deal else that would help in this debate.
Awake O Dead, for there can be no rest for ye beneath the earth. Let the splintered bones burrow from the grave pall. Let cold fingers grip time-worn blades, and unseeing eyes survey the fields of slaughter. For your time has come once more. And the dead shall walk.

To quote the 5th edition warhammer bestiary book:
If the knights of bretonnia ever were to fail in their duty, mankind would be doomed.
