I would be surprised to see a new terminator kit. It's not *that* old, and its still a very, very, nice kit. Perhaps a recut or an extra sprue/finecast upgrade set, but its a kit that doesn't need replacing. If a kit doesn't need replacing, why replace it? Replacing it would take up a production slot that could go towards something else.

Maybe reading a little too much into the terminator painting day thing.

I know, right? I think I'm going to buy one, just in case they mess up the next one. ...They're kinda expensive, though...

Maybe I read a little too much, but take the following in mind:

    - Though the current kit is already nice and has alot of options 6ED brings us a whole new view on various Power Weapons available. Current kit doesn't really support this.
    - Current kit doesn't have all the options you would expect, f.e. lightning claws.
    - Recent Terminator kits does cover all options listed in the unit entry on FOC. f.e. SW terminators and GK terminators.

Neverless either it gets an additional sprue with more weapons or getting a completly new designed terminators, it still counts as a new kit.

Lastly: 110 pounds for getting a squad of pre-assembled coated terminators + learning how to paint Master Class (in 1 day?) + food? This is too pricey imho. With 110 pounds you can buy alot of models and also on the internet there's so many guides/videos about painting ( not to mention people from local GW stores) to help you out.

Obviously the whole masterclass painting is a promotion of the new CSM since they are using CSM terminators. But that's also the exact reason why they use these models. New kits gets people excited and wants to buy the Chaos productline, which is their main goal. Chances are fair we might see something new regarding these terminators.

    Just my 2 cents

I have not seen it mentioned so I don't know if this is news or not. Checked the US Games Workshop site today and there is no longer a Dark Angels category under the armies tab. You can still do a search and find their codex and minis and all look like they are up for sale. Speculate as you wish but I am still hoping that Chaos comes out first.

GW is like the Chaos Gods, they promise and tempt you getting lots of stuff. When you have it you'll realize it's too much for you to handle. You'll end up as a mindless spawn painting all the stuff you have.

The Dark Angels tab is under Space Marines, at least on the US site. Dark Angels never had their own tab like Space Wolves and Blood Angels. They were always listed under the Space Marines tab with Black Templars... GW did not remove the Dark Angels from their site...

Once upon a time Blood Angels and Space Wolves were tabs under the Space Marines as well. When they got a new codex they got their own entry.

it appears as though this will be when Chaos space marines arrive (if already pointed out i am sry )

    via Faeit 212 inbox
a local gw store had put a event calendar online and removed it some hours later. It might be, because for August 4th it stated "Codex release party", which would concur with the newest rumors. Maybe this helps.

While I agree that this will likely be the release date... The whole "White Dwarf was delayed" thing he also posted makes me wonder if the release was pushed back in a hurry and they had to re-do their magazine because of this.

@Maxis: I agree. I've never been so confused as to what is coming out when.

It may be best to not keep our hopes up. That is the beginning of unhappiness after all...

Forgive me if this is posted elsewhere, but of the 3 new flyers, is it truly confirmed that one is for the Eldar?

Confirmed anymore than any other rumour? But yeah both a Tau and Eldar Flyers seem to be a lock most of the confusion seems to be caused by people who seem to completely overlook that the 1st flyer wave had two new flyers that didn't exist prior to their release that got WD rules. So you have folks rationalizing that "oh it must be the Harpy that has needed a model for ages", "Maybe they mistook the Void Raven as an Eldar flyer", "Surely they would release models for Flyer units that already have rules before releasing new ones........wait, what"

Based on actual rumours as opposed peoples "logic" yeah one is a Eldar flyer (actually 2 since it's apparently a dual kit).
Sorry no GW I will not pay twice the $$$ to buy from retail stores in Australia and no amount of adds to the hobby, support you FLGS bulldung is going to change the fact your charging twice as much.

That's a pretty good analysis. So Tau and Eldar flyers are pretty locked in (I've noticed they've been constant) but the third flier tends to swap about a bit. Tyranid, Chaos Daemon or Chaos Marine. One thing that I've also noticed is that there's been some flip-flop between rumors about the Chaos Space Marine flier, and whether it's more like a Hellblade or if it's more like a dragon thing. My thinking is that there are two fliers for Chaos coming out, one for Chaos Daemons that is a flying Soul Grinder dragon-esque thing, and the other is a more realistic Hellblade-like flier for Chaos Marines that will release with the Codex.

Yeah I definatly think this is a possibility. There was also mention of Daemons getting something BIG akin to the things like the Skaven Pit Abomination with the upcoming Daemon wave. It was clarified that it was NOT plastic greater daemons but something new. I have been entertaining the possibility that this is a "dual kit" that builds a WHFB Daemons big gribbly and a 40k Chaos Daemons flyer unit.

I am expecting some flavour of Chaos release for 40k in the next UK Dwarf, simply based on the back page of the current (UK) magazine. Which incidentally also states that the next dwarf will be released on the 28th of July.

Ah, hey everyone. I've been looking for a new roleplaying game ever since my Lord Of The Rings-club booted me for using an actual warhammer, so would anyone mind if I pretended to be Chief of Medicine while Kelso is out of town?

    Today at Faeit 212 http://natfka.blogspot.nl/2012/07/ga...th-6th-ed.html

Well hello all. I had my conference earlier today. Nothing really new except that the codex after csm will not hit till 2013. Right now GW is VERY upset at the failure of 6ed distribution. So they will try to get THAT sorted out then chaos them terraim and flyers. There was also NO mention of a fantasy book this year. Take it how it is but thats what I have. Any more details I can gather will be here.
    "

Based on this rumour delayment on WD is mostly related to 6ED faillure. Either they're adding additional pages to promote 6ED again or they simply replace Chaos release with 6ED pages. I hope it's not the last case. Anyways I still pray we get a chaos release this upcoming month.
