Using Kroot in Warhammer Fantasy...your ideas?

I wouldn't use them as lizardmen. Their quick movements and rifles would make them a very powerful unit. Thats why skinks have such a low weapon power. But I could see kroots easily being apart of wfb.

I use them in my Lizard army, I've also used them as Dark Elves, they look really sweet on the Dark Elf cold ones

The Kroot kind of seem to fit in well with a lot of armies with some slight shifts. A friend of mine was using Kroot riding the mounts from the Steeds of Slanesh in a Gorkamorka force. He also has several he's using for a fantasy army he's working on, not sure which as he tends not to say which one he's working on until the army pops up for a game.

I was planning on using Kroot as a sort of Anubis Daemon thing (whether as bloodletters or daemonettes, I hadn't decided) for a Daemonic pact with my tomb kings.

But really the only 25mm bases are WoC, Demons, and Saurus, aren't they?

so you really want to represent them with Some S4, T3 troops with high initiative.....

I 3 isn't that high in Fantasy, right about normal...

I believe Kroot are in a unique position with their stats, most that have a difference between S & T, usually have the T higher, while Kroot have them less.

Since you already have so many armies, might I suggest righting up a Warhammer: Kroot army book? Collaborate with the Rules Development Forum, your local group, and the Kompletely Kroot Kodex guys to crank one out. Aside from Tyranids, Kroot are probably the best fit for easy translation to Fantasy from 40K as a unique army. Just cut out down on their access to firearms and incorporate an even stronger tribal theme to them to fill them out.

Why yes, they do look sweet on the cold ones! Perhaps I'll steal that idea myself. Nice work losing the dark elf spiky bit on the reigns, too. I've seen people miss that even on Imperial Guard conversions
