OOP Black Orcs

is there anyone who could tell me wich kind of Black Orc models were there during 6th edition.
I know there was a box of Metal ones with 2 hand weapons (picked that one up today at a retailer), and heard something about GW ones.
I know there was a Banner/Muso blister (banner with the Dwarf hanging on), released with the 2nd batch (don't even know if either GW or AHW was first), but was there a command with the first ones?
And finally, do those Orcs have a Champion model?

This was the main black and orc unit in 6th edition. Metal models with AHW, all in the same pose.



For storms of chaos, towards the end of 6th, GW released metal black orcs with GW. Slightly more variety than the AHW. Those also had a new command with the dwarf on the banner.



I don't think there was any champions in those models.

2 hw ons were first and had a trummer and a banner bearer with metal orc mask at the top the GW ons with the dwarf banner were realise for th storm of chaos summer campaigne if my memory serves. And no unit chempions that i can remember.

I know the AHW come in a box of 10, but how were the GW ones sold? Box or just per 3 in a blister?

Box of 10 with the command sold separately. I think they were available in blisters too, but might be wrong on that.

They were $45 a box too. Really expensive for the time.....

yeah, bought the AHW ones today for 50 euro's. The retailer had another box, but didn't want to shell out 100 euro's for 20 models

You're better off with the plastic ones really, they virtually identical.

I know, but the collector in me wanted them all!!

I did feel a BIT ripped off when I was setting up my Blorcs the other day, and noticed that my 30 euro costing GD 2000 Blorc boss looks almost identical to a random plastic one that I made from the kit...
