Any cool Spyrer conversions you have to show?

Hello, I've been interested in starting a Spyrers gang lately, were it not for the A) price on the miniatures and B) lack in interest in said miniatures. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone has any cool conversions done for their Spyrers. For example, I can imagine a pretty cool Yeld with Dark Eldar Scourge/ Swooping Hawk wings. So far, the only think I haven't been able to figure out how to replace are the Orrus hunters.

So any inspiring pictures you can provide me on this subject are most welcome. Hope they're alot

Nothing to show, but you are on the right track with the Eldar thinking.

For the Orrus, personally I'd check out the Eldar Striking Scorpion Exarch - you may get one from Ebay at a decent price. Matching his two arms would be beneficial here. I guess the trick is to have a model which represents the type, rather than trying to get an exact look - spyrer outfits aren't mass produced but highly personal items, and mandiblasters could have the same effect as racks on the wrists.

I have done up some converted Spyrers using parts from Tau, Eldar, Dark Eldar and Space Marine bits. (Space Marines are great for the Orrus, since they are supposed to be the most heavily armoured.) I have done two of each type of Spyrer, plus a Matriarch and Patriarch. (I made them all for use in my 40K Spyrer codex - see the link in my sig below.) I will see if I can find some time to take pictures of them and get them up on here - been meaning to do so for a while anyway.
