    Multiple scrolls

    Lads, lassies,

Is it allowed for a character to wear multiples of a scroll? such as power scroll or dispell scroll, feedback scroll....

Is that allowed for a powerstone as well?

This all from the main rule book, 8th ed.

You aren't allowed to take a magic item more than once unless specifically allowed.

    Scrolls are a magic item.

There are no exemptions in the main book.

We must change and change until Change is our master, for nothing neither god nor mortal can hold that which has no form. Change is the constant that cannot be changed.

Nope. He was mistaken, and house rules need to be accepted by both parties. I don't know many that would care for multiple scrolls again.

Yeah, I've heard of people who still allow it - goodness knows why. For many editions you could take more than one dispell scroll, but it isn't legal anymore. Perhaps they didn't like the change so still play it that way?

I have heard of house ruling that dispel scrolls could be taken multiple times, but that was a specific group's house rule because those folks felt that magic was too powerful. As page 172 of the rules says, you can only take each magic item once and no character may have more than one of each type (weapon, armor, talisman, etc). There are a few army specific exceptions like Skaven Warpstone Token, which specifically state multiple wizards may take multiple of them or Daemonic Gifts, which the Daemon book says can be replicated across different characters and units, but those are specifically worded exceptions to the rule on page 172.

I know the question has been answered, but for preference, be aware that GW staffers are notorious for not knowing the rules properly.
