Can Dark Elf Noble on Pegasi vanguard move?

So Pegasi are monsters beasts. Charctors riding montersous beasts are monsters cavalry. Monsterous Cavalry followes cavalry rules. this particular cavalry flies, so then are DE charectors on Dark Pegasi considered flying cavarly, and can thus vanguard?

    Thanks!

You need to have the special rule "Flying Cavalry", which a Model on a Pegasus doesn't have.
    So sadly not

There is a different between Flying Cavalry and Cavalry that Fly. I know, its confusing but that's how it was written.

The only units that have the flying cavalry rule, as far as I can think, are the bretonnian pegasus riders (but not their characters on pegasus if I remeber correctly), and the skinks on ptesauro-thingy (and maybe their characters, I think that they have an exception allowing them to join the unit)

War hawk riders also have the ability, but their characters cannot go on warhawks. The rule itself in the brb referes to it both as Flying Cav and also flying cav. The dark Pegasus is flying cav. I don't think it's just a flat, simple no

That's not how the English language works. One is in capitals because it is the name of something, in this case, a special rule. The other is no in capitals because it is a reference to or a description of something. Flying Cavalry is a rule, which is what you must have in other to benefit from vanguard for a flying unit; flying cavalry is just a generalisation of what the unit is, because they are cavalry that fly.

In other words, it is a simple no.

Just because its Montrous Cavalry model with the fly rule doesn't make it Flying Cavalry. The Bret Pegasus Knights, Lizardmen Terradon Riders, Warhawk Riders all have Flying Cavalry in its special rule set.

The English language is far from simple. It is a no, not a simple no though.

Hey I'm in California , my in ability to spell is purely a function of me being an engineer. Although I can totally see people thinking English is my second ( or third) language, lol. Plus I had a tad bit to drink and it was 2 am . . .
