£19 for 10 bolters and the accessories? WTF?
Why not do what the other bolter kits had, and just produce 10 bolters for nearly £10.
I already have more grenades and pouch spares than I care to count, and in "most" cases, see that no one ever glues them on any more anyway!

All other points raised - agreed. Weird combo of bits.

From what I remember of the FW open day in the UK, Will had stated they are going to work on an assault terminator unit also so this pack was just as a character squad leader upgrade pack and not mean't for upgrading all of them. He also mentioned they would try and do other heavy weapon options which may include a Reaper and some other bits also. Personally I like the MKIV assault variant but was a bit disappointed that the legs aren't dynamically posed but I guess neither are the MKII or MKV.

FW's Facebook page has also indicated that there is a TH/SS set en route I think. Well when asked, I think there was a tongue in cheek comment all but confirming.

the assault marines look almost perfect for use as marines in "void hardened" armour for boarding assaults, can only agree with comments on other bits

On the subject of the lack of straps... looking at them I think it might be a deliberate design aspect. The 'chest plate' actually looks to me like part of a solid harness that slots over the marines cuirass rather than straps.

The combination of Captain Shrike going over to finecast and these old-style retractable lightning claws should make a "claw swap" a lot easier; I for one prefer the old claws to the new "knuckledusters of doom". Pity about the price though...

Yes, I assumed the single-engine Jump Packs were more integrated into the armour than the common two-engine Jump Pack that basically is an add-on to the regular backpack (especially evident on the Red Scorpion Vanguard Veterans' Jump Packs). Hence the missing harnesses on the Sanguinary Guard are less of an issue to me than the missing harnesses in the Death Company box (luckily, bitz ordering jump pack torsos is pretty cheap).

will those hand weapons and bolters fit nicely on a powered armour marines hand?

I like the Terminator weapons, but the Tartaros suits are just smaller Contemptor Dreads...are the Tartaros suits supposed to have special rules over regular terminators, though (as they say they have "better mobility than normal suits")?
