VANTUS'S DARK MECHANICUS-ISH THEMED CHAOS ARMY LOG


So, I was putting this army together awhile ago for a campaign weekend back in the UK until things got in the way... didnt get them done in time for the weekend... and then moved to NZ xD
Thought it was about time to paint these models up into an actual army :) Each model is a conversion/sculpt/inbetween of some kind.
Its a Dark Mechanicus-ish themed army im putting together entirely for the fun of it, if I use it to play any games, ill probably use the Chaos Space Marines rules.
Most of the stuff im planning on putting in the army Ive already sculpted /converted. So really ive just got to paint them.
The 'to paint' list ive got at the moment is:


Daemon Prince (Obliterator themed)

Dark Mechanicus Leader Walker Thingy - IN PROGRESS

23 Tentacley Troops Things

6 Plaguelings Bases - DONE

Defiler Conversion that looks like a messed up Soulgrinder

Defiler Conversion that looks like a giant Juggernaught with a cannon for a mouth (not my original idea)

3 Obliterators - DONE


I might add/remove things from the list if I change my army plan.

To kick of this project, 3 Obliterators Ive just finished painting!

The Obliterators are converted using the Chaos Terminator models, a bunch of greenstuff and extra heavy weapons I had lying around :)

So, as Im an art student who is always bogged down in assessments I do sometimes find it hard to find the time to get stuff done.
So I apologise for the lack of activity!

However I HAVE managed to paint those little mech-plaguelings and im currently working on my HQ! Pics of those will go up in due time
