About three years ago I decided to start a second fantasy army: Dark Elves. Soon after, life got in the way and I never painted the elves. I recently dug them out and started painting again. I don't really follow an armylist since I'm just going by whichever units I had already assembled. For now, my goal is to finish most of my unpainted models I have laying around and get a painted Dark Elf army going. Apart from the Dark Elves there are some random Bretonnians around that require some colour. I'm not the greatest painter, but I try to get my models to look as nice as possible (:
First up are my dark riders. I converted them from Wood Elf glade riders. I opted to go with a blue/black colour scheme with light leather accents. I sculpted feathers on the cloak where I cut off the spears and quivers. The movement tray is not yet done and I think the bases lack something as well. I might try out the new textured paints on them. I'm not sure about that yet.
Second is one of my assassins. I have three of those as I opted to go with the Watchers of Karna from the Lord of the Rings. This was the first miniature I did in the blue/black scheme.
