    1750 Grey Knights

    40K Army: Daemonhunters
Librarian - shrouding, quicksilver, might of titan, sanctuary, servo skullsx3
10 Paladins - psycannonx4, halberds and hammers, psybolt
10 GKT - incineratorx2, psybolt, halberds and hammers
    10 Strike Squad - hammer, psycannonx2, psybolt
    10 Strike Squad - hammer, psycannonx2, psybolt

I believe I'm 15 points over, and not sure where to trim the points.

Would I be better off to drop a strike squad to get another character, like a grand master or a librarian? I like the idea of giving the terminators and paladins counterattack, but also think shrouding would be rather handy. Not really interested in Draigo in this list, as I'm trying to run paladins without him.

Its an all deepstrike list, and I would sorely like to squeeze in some more servo skulls with the aforementioned characters I'm considering. I would also like to have some grenades for the paladins, but not sure how to get them. The only deepstriking grenade caddy is the grand master, and he's a lot of points...

drop 5 of the paladins and make one of the remaining 5 an apothecary, that will shore up a few points. 10 paladins is a bit of a "all your eggs in one basket" thing.

but the pal's are usually combat squaded. If you're close to the points, a few small weapons adjustments should do the trick.

get rid of psybolt on the paladins as it isnt as effective with only 6 storm bolters, after you get rid of that you should be under the points limit

Also, GK termies aren't near as good as paladins...

    Re: 1750 Grey Knights

Thanks for your responses. I agree with dropping the psybolt. As for combat squadding, well that's dependent on the mission/opponent. Typically I do combat squad, unless its kill points, but there are some exceptions, such as wanting to keep the paladins/terminators whole if my opponent has a nasty unit of death also.

What the list really lacks, I'm finding, is mobility.

I've been pondering adding interceptors to help with that. However to do that, I have to lose troops, or some pallies (which I can't bring myself to do, as they are the backbone of the list), and without grand strategy I need the amount of troops in this list. Perhaps I should drop the librarian for a grand master... Thoughts?
