Lots of new Orc stuff!! Cool
Oh Pyrovore, you're like the Eeyore of 40K
After the Chaos Dwarf releases I'm excited for what Forgeworld will make for regular Dwarfs.
Looks great, hope the dwarves get a Dreadquake-sized war machine!
Sweet! I love the current two WF books, this will be a lovely addition :-D
This is exciting news! Any leads on a possible release date? Very curious to see what they will do with the Empire stuff...

"It's based on a 3rd battle for Black Fire Pass and they've been working on it for about 4 months and there's already loads of great artwork and much of the story has been drafted up."
so yea end of the year soudns reasnable
I'm usualy not a ranter, but this just reminds me of Battle for Skull Pass. Gobbos and Dwarfs... not a fan. Orcs might be fun though and perhaps they bring in some goodies for Empire. I probably got a bad feeling because even though I have no interest in the factions, the book is still going to be awesome and I'll buy it anyways....
The Wild Ride of Saim-Hann

Looking again at the picture... There is a number printed on the side of the book, is it 11 or II (Roman style 2)? I would like to think it's 11, but that would seem unlikely as Monstrour Arcanum was only number 1...

A fair bit of this was discussed in the Fw open day thread, I managed to speak to the writers about it and posted here:
Hi DazzaB - I was just about to post that you should get credit for that photo of the book cover!
edited Op to give dazza credit -
dont wnat to step on anybodys toes i was just suprised it wasnt up here and was hoping sharing it would get more info out
feel free to re start this thread with the correct person or edit as will etc
Jup, should be a Roman 2. I kinda remember that on the first version of Monstrous Arcanum there was also a Warhammer Legends subtitle, though on the final version there isn't. But given FW saying MA is the first book of a series, number 2 for BoBFP makes sense, no?
I think BoBFP is the 2nd book in a series called Warhammer Legends which is a series of campaign books with a narrative, the first of which was Tamurkhan. Monstrous Arcana is the first in their other series of books which are more like bestiaries without the strong narrative element.
To paraphrase Harry: 8th edition and Storm of Magic - BRING IT ON!
Can it be?
