    Dark Heresy-Starting a War...

Hello everyone. A scenario needs ideas, fast!

I'm doing a day-long oneshot for Dark Heresy at a gaming party. In said event, my players are undercover Inquisitorial agents on a Chaos world which knows nothing of the galaxy or outer space. It is a low techish world, early 20th century level. The taint is not excessive-mutants are revered, and there is some peculiar wildlife that doesn't stand up to close inspection by the puritanical, but there is still a functioning civilization. (The setting discussed here- http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...orgotten-world.)

The players have been given a great deal of XP and credits to buy equipment, but are naturally constrained by the setting; if they choose to even use las-weapons with anyone watching, they'll immediately stand out because such devices haven't been invented yet. They have travelled to a city where a major diplomatic conference is taking place. Their mission is to start a war between the world's two major empires, so as to weaken its potential resistance to the Imperial fold-from both without and within.

Any suggestions on what the players could get up to/I should plan for?

The party consists of a Tech Priest with concealed implants, an Ordo Xenos scholar (on a world with no aliens, but he has a supply of Death World insects to unleash), a "social character" (read: prostitute for the Inquisition), and a priest masquerading as a servant who has collected information on the local Chaos cult. The last two will probably accumulate corruption points pretty quickly.

If your "social character" is more of the high-class escort type than the ten-dollar hooker, then you could always give her the chance to mingle with politicians and generals; after all, how many high-ranking figures have shamed themselves for one torrid love affair? The potential of hearing damaging secrets that could then be passed to her comrades may give the social character something more to do outside of fighting.

The "social character" is a popular "actress". She could quite possibly do some "mingling".
