Entry for Starsmash 2012 is now open. You can find the rulespack and entry details on the Event Page below. We plan to offer the same high-quality event Spiky Club always aims for...and looking forwards to the changes and challenges of 6th Edition!

When you enter, please can you make sure you confirm the email address you can be contacted at, and also any food allergies. Closer to the date we will be sorting out food orders (our new catering supplier offers a range of specially prepared baguettes, including hot food), and we will also be issuing an update as and when 6th Edition lands!

As we plough into August, it's time to start focusing! I've added the entry list to date in the first post.

Been having a great time with 6th Edition, and this weekend we should be issuing an update to the rulespack. As far as general guidelines go;

• Yes to Fortifications
• Yes to Flyers
• Yes to Allies
• Yes to Mysterious Objectives and Terrain
• Yes to Forgeworld "40K Approved" items

There will be a "start of game" sequence in the rulespack to handle the fact that mission, setup and terrain are pre-determined. Any queries and questions can be dealt with at the Spiky Club forums, or on the Offical Website WWW.STARSMASH.CO.UK

As far as the objective markers, I'm speaking to the manufacturer about trying to get 6 for each player, with identical images on one side, and the number sequence 1,2,2,3,3,4 on the other...watch this space!

Updated the entries list...Also heard back from our poker chip supplier and graphic designer... I can confirm that all entrants will recieve 6 Objective Markers...They will all be identical on one side, and on the other will have the numbers 1,2,2,3,3,4... perfect for The Scouring mission!



These were incredibly popular last year, so it's been really good to be able to update them for 6th Edition.

Hi everyone

Reminder first off...army lists are due in 9pm tonight. I've received loads already, so make suire that you don't incur a 5-point penalty by getting yours in late!

Secondly, the food order emails are going out today, for return by Tuesday evening. I have emails for most entrants, however if you've booked up for several people, or for whatever reason don't receive it you need to email me with your choice of lunch for both days. The list of options is at the website, where you'll also find the 6th Edition rulespack update, and the ever-growing FAQ!

Finally...the objective markers have arrived, and rather splendid they look too!

There are sets of these waiting for every entrant...they'll be handed out at registration next Saturday...

We still have a small number of spaces left if anyone would like to attend...you'll need to get your payment sorted, army list in and food order done quickly (PM me or email me and we can sort you out)
