Greetings All WarSeers!
Hello! Good to meet everyone here at WarSeer.
I first discovered Warhammer 40k in 1988! A new kid had moved into town a few blocks away from me and with him he brought strange interests from far away. One such interest was his collection of space marines and demon miniatures. I was immediately hooked on the hobby, and the Lord of Change was love at first sight! That fateful day started me down the long road of corruption hehe. I remember playing using the old Rogue Trader rules back when a box of 30 space marines was less than $20 and a Land Raider was only $25! We'd all gather around a table in my friends basement on Friday night and start our games with whatever minis we had, and would play all weekend.
In my time playing I think I've played just about every army there is except Dark Eldar (I just don't like their look) and Chaos has definitely been my longest running army. I think I played them for over 10 years alone. Currently I have a Tau and Eldar army and my wife plays Space Wolves. (I knew if my relationship was going to last I needed a gamer girl and got very lucky finding mine
) In truth, my wife and I haven't played tabletop in a couple of years now though we still paint the miniatures. We've been playing Dark Heresy since it released in addition to some games of Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, and Black Crusade and we are totally addicted to the Black Library books (although some really are terrible lol). Our Dawn of War I & II and Space Marine video game addiction runs pretty deep as well.
Lately I've been having more fun creating relics from Warhammer 40k, like life sized purity seal pins to decorate gaming bags and chainswords to scare the heretics with. Having these awards and props at our Dark Heresy games has definitely made it a lot more interesting and quite funny.
Anyway, it's a pleasure to be here at WarSeer and I look forward to getting to know the community better.
Cheers,
Inquisitor Hexx.

Re: Greetings All WarSeers!
I really should have shared a link to my blog. I have pictures of some of the props I've made with tutorials detailing how I did it.
