Looks pretty darn solid to me. Quick question on the immortals though, are you just planning to keep them in the backfield? If so you might want to break them up into 2 groups of 5 to help with target saturation and less of a chance of being swept.

Either way that list looks nasty. Good Luck.

I was probably going to keep them at 24" range in the backfield and throw down extra S5 shots. I'm worried about splitting them up because of Reanimation Protocols. I figure they'll be pretty hard to budge off an objective if I keep them in cover. I've actually considered dropping them in favor of a 3rd Ghost Ark. However, I really like the models and I don't think 3 Ghost Arks is necessary. I couldn't fit more Crypteks if I did that anyway.

    Currently, I own 10 Immortals, 20 Warriors, 2 Ghost Arks, 6 Wraiths, 5 Scarabs, and 4 Barges.

I say keep the Immortals at 10 strong, since as you say splitting them up makes them easier to wipe out in one turn, especially if you lose a model or two early in the game and suffer damager later on. Besides, it's a Kill Point!

I do think the list is reasonable though. It lacks dedicated anti-tank firepower but it's a problem you can work around with the Command Barges.

I'm not really sure how Necrons get good anti-tank fire. A Triach Stalker is one option, but they're quite expensive at 150 points.

Personally I don't think the Ghost Ark is worth it to protect 5 warriors with 2 Destructeks. They might be worth it for target saturation if you were going all mech.

So, I'd drop them both for 2 more units of warriors with Destructeks. Gives you more ranged anti tank and more scoring units at the cost of a few Guass shots and a bit of survivability. You'd even have a few points left for a few scarabs or some toys for your Overlords.

I think the problem is, if Wolf loses to Arks, it's much less target saturation for the S8+ weapons. Presently they have to choose between 2 Command barges, 2 Arks, 6 Wraiths (trying to Insta-kill them) and 2 Annihilation Barges.

People can't really ignore the arks - as they are holding the squishy scoring units and 2S8 shots each... but if they shoot at the arks it leaves the far more dangerous stuff unmolested.

I like the list, personally, I'm interested to see how it works out. Long range AT is always a bit of a problem for Necrons - but 2 Warscythes should help cover up - with the 4++ for going flat out and so on. Wraiths are awesome against anything short of a Land Raider too.

I like the Ghost Ark gunboats. Ahra Returns posted my stance on their usefulness.

The only other real change I'm considering at this point is to drop a Wraith in favor of a Cryptek for the Immortals or some more wargear for the Lords.
