We just tested out a great static grass applicator and posted a review of it on our site. It was easy to use and the results were outstanding.

Ive seen something like that around for about $80 or something. Absolutely ridiculous price to get some grass to 'stand up'. How much does that one cost? Ill take a look at the review now
Angron's hobbies include crochet and flower pressing - but he does them with barbed wire and his face, respectively.
How does it stay in the air? Oh, it's powered by pure handwavium
Quick, let me take my (Mat) Ward save!
Sorry for the double post, but that board is amazing, such stunning piece of terrain.

The ones made out of a sieve and a flyswatter work perfectly, and cost about £10 to make yourself, or you can get them for about £15 of ebay already built.

I just use the puffer bottle that came with my first bag of static grass. The grass cost me $10 for 150g.
OK, so it's a bit of a PITA to fill, but a couple of shakes and a few puffs and it works well.

I am the guy who thought the LoTR movies were crap and liked Judge Dredd.
I just rub lumps of it through my fingers to "charge" it then pick up the grass, dab it and blow. Cool gadget though, too pricey for me however.
Lovely board, but you can achieve the same effect with a balloon and a fleece jumper for about twenty pence, to be honest this device seems a bit like an invention to solve a problem that didn't exist.
I rub the lumps of static grass through a seive, seems to work fine.
I have seen a proper grassing gun for big model railway layouts though. That incorporates the static trickery of this with a grinder/seperator for bagged static grass, a blower and a higher voltage grid to give a better spray. I want one, but they're around £400....
