    Fanny's Warriors of Chaos

After much pondering, I have decided to start a painting log for my Warriors of Chaos army and a separate one for my Vampire Counts that I'll be painting alongside.
My Many Things log will now solely be used for any other models I'm working on that don't fit under either of these armies.

My reasoning is that with dedicated PLogs that I've had in the past, I have stuck to one or two armies and stayed focused. I have many half painted minis and to be frank, I'm getting nowhere.

So here it is, my Warriors of Chaos army so far:

My four god specific champions for my Chaos Warriors. I had loads of fun with these.

For my Chosen, I have hunted down some old Chaos Champions and Sorcerers. These models played a large part in my early years in the hobby.

    Khorne

Slaanesh (Ignore the painted models. These are a test and will be stripped in due course).

    Tzeentch

    Nurgle

WOw!! So great ! Love all that old chaos models , I've been thinking of using them as choosen as well , but in the end I just felt they are not "big enough" compared with a regular warrior.
So I just got some other models.
Anyway from Khorne don't you have those ones? Wolf looking in heavy armour and hammer , Barbarian look with horned helm and 2 swords , Lizard like with tail and axe.

Love the conversions and green stuff work. The stag horns on the nurgle ogre is a really nice touch (even though the fact you've butchered a beloved spirit of our elven forest breaks my heart). Vomiting ogre looks grest too.
A lot of theose metals models are alien to me so I'm interested to see how they turn out, it's good to see something a little different.

Great looking nurgle chosen. The skin tone is perfect, though I can't place the colours. Mind sharing?

Top marks Mr. Crowbar. Loving the retro models! Makes me wish I hadn't eBayed mine a few years ago.

    Ugh

This just reminds me of how much more I like the old metal chaos models.

@pointyteeth - As far as I can remember, the base was Dheneb Stone followed by a wash of Gryphonne Sepia. Highlights were the base with added white.

@Bigbeh - I bet you made some decent funds off them though eh? Going off the price I paid for one or two of these...

@mbh1127 - Yeah, these guys have loads of character and really show off aspects of the Gods they worship.

    More updates.

Lord of Khorne on Juggernaut and Khornate Knights. I painted these a while ago and now can't remember what colours I mixed for these I'll have to experiment a little I think.

Another Chaos Ogre that I'm working on.

I have plans to make Ogres for each god. I'll probably use Minotaur bodies for the Khornate ones. The Slaaneshi Ogres will be all manic grins and self mutilation. The Tzeentch worshippers will be tribal looking, covered in swirling tattoo's

Nice work on the ogres, they look ACE. And although I'm not a fan of older models, I really like how you've painted the tzeentch ones, they come out really good.

    Re: Fanny's Warriors of Chaos

Work has begun on another Ogre.

This little guy will be on the Ogres base:

Also, I may as well include my Daemons on this log. These Daemons are on round bases because I use them for both Warhammer and 40K. Round bases just look better in my opinion.

Some of you may have seen this in my other log, but for those of you who haven't, a Daemonette.

I've finished the head of my Slaaneshi Daemon Prince.

I've also begun to paint one of my all time favourite miniatures.
