Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the aerosol weathering sprays by Modelmates. I've seen it around, but I was wondering if anyone has used tuft stuff and whether its actually any good.
Anyone have any opinions on the stuff, as I was thinking it might be quite useful.

Very similar effects to the spray but much gives much better control when applying. To use it just water it down and paint it over ther area, let it partially dry then wipe areas you want cleaner. I find the brown/red great for the greased metal look. If you haven't used it before I would suggest geting the brush on stuff since it's fairly difficult to use the spray on small areas. The range was designed with model trains in mind and the spray definately reflects this- you can give great weathering effects to large areas easily, however it isn't as versatile as the spray when it comes to smaller models. I routinely use it on bases, exposed metal, ect.. which couldn't be done with the spray.
