As in the board game, not the upcoming apocalypse.
I've got the main set and have been enjoying it a lot. Now me and a few friends are looking to expand, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend any of the (many) expansions?

Great game I am planing on getting humans next it looks like a lot of fun
I used to play this back in college all the time. I like Zombies 3: Mall Walkers personally. I'd recommend not using more than 1-2 expansions together with the main game for any given game, as otherwise it can just get totally out of control.
Good times, good times...

Yeah...luckily I've got a large floor that can be put to good use!
In the end, despite asking for help, I jumped the gun and bought Z:2 (the army one), Z:3 (mall) and a big bag of Zombies.
I will probably end up getting them in order, although Clown zombies do tempt me...

Zombies Corps(e) is fantastic, really enjoyed it. On the other hand I found Zombies 4 The End really dull. I found the whole evil dead thing they had going at odds with the tone of the rest of the games and thought it simply wasn't as varied as the others.
Zombies 2 and 3 are excellent. Avoid the one with the dogs, it introduces 'half hearts' and complicates the simple gameplay.
And I have played a game with Zombies 1, 2 and 3. It can get...expansiveAnd, when the helicopter shows up on the other side of the room, things get intense.

In my experience, in a game with lots of players, it pays to be the guy doing second-best. It's the player who's winning who gets smacked with all the Government Enhanced Zombies, the Bad Sense of Direction, and the Slight Miscalculation.
Time it right, and you can skate to victory when everyone's used up all their nasty cards on the player right in front of you.![]()

We once hit the same guy in one turn with the card that makes you have to exit a building (Claustrophobia, I think) and one that makes you have to go into a building (forget what that one is called). On his turn, no one was quite sure what he should have to do so we voted to have him not be allowed to move as he was frozen in fear. Zombies is a game that should (and usually does) lead to shenanigans of the highest order. This and Lunch Money are my two all time favorite multiplayer, sit at a table style games.

THe wife & I have the expansions up to number 7 - send in the clowns! i think. The extra cards set - 3.5 is really good, and yeah - 4 doesn't feel quite right.
