Would make sense if they conform to the "armies get monstrous cavalry" model. Lizardmen most likely aren't being updated anytime soon, but plastic kits take a while to make

The thing is if 40K fliers are June which sounds fairly certain does this mean literally nothing for Fantasy? There should be something for Fantasy this month right? Because there was this cheeky rumour a long time back of a Witch Elves release in May/June this year as that odd little Fantasy release in several months dominated by 40K.

Not that i count stock issues on the US site as indicative of new releases....

I placed an order for some Black Guard 2 days ago and received an email stating that they were out of stock. When I talked with the sales guy he said they'd be back in stock mid-July.

Apparently, a couple of people have had orders (one for Salamanders and one for Executioners) come back with the items listed as "OBSOLETE" on the receipt and were issues refunds for their orders. So not just a matter of being out of stock or back ordered.

Dark elf chariots? Shades and rank and file for Executioners and Witch Elves are missing but can't see anything else. Is an interesting development.

Witch Elves would be a timely release now-ish but should be plastic unless those Blood Vestals have them worried and they're jumping the gun to Finecast.

Executioners and Shades could both easily go to Finecast - i have plenty of the metal ones and they would translate well.

Alternately the whole thing is just a temporary supply chain issue.

A GW representative told my LFGS that June is a Fantasy month and not a 40k month (rumour)

So it could be a Dark Elf wave (speculation). If these dark elf kits are going to be replaced it would be with plastic kits and not finecast: not a single rank-and -file unit (on 20 and 25mm) has been converted to finecast.

Why would they start now? And can imagine the ridiculous cost of such a unit?
