Dammit. I'm not sure I can afford another bunch of DO models. I picked up the Lizardmen I absolutely wanted. Now I feel like I better do it here too. One can live of water and dry bread, right? Right?

Exactly my sentiments. Better get this Gigantic Spider and Great Cave Squig now! And I'm still excited for the Savage Boss!

Edit: Oh, the Squig Hoppaz seem to get 20% cheaper. Not bad!

I do understand your nostalgy (I was 12 when I first played a Bloodbowl game, in the ferry bringing my class to London...). But it isn't incompatible with the will to have new minis to admire, is it ?

Hahahaha, you misunderstand my words. Comprehensible, English isn't my first language. What I mean is that is sad to see that GW apparently has give up the renovation of old models in favour of finecasting. I think it's really weird to finecast really old miniatures like Ragnar Blackmane or the wolf chariot instead of updating 'em!

They can only put out so many new kits and sculpts at a time. The various Finecast waves are to shift product over to the material so they can get rid of metal completely. Instead of a new sculpt, they just make a new mold using the old master and start producing the finecast versions.

I think that their new entries for armies are too numerous for sculptors to follow the line in time. Creativity wins again (some entries were not made for an armybook that they updated it !)

I went to have a look at those flyers... Sometimes I do wish I still wanted to play 40k Well of course I was playing tau and there's no tau flyer in there, but all those flyers look cool (well, not the Necron one, you can hardly make more stereotypical than that... There's a ship like that in half the US scifi shows).
