Models for Lizardmen and Dark Elves no longer available

so looks like there's a lizardmen / dark elves / tomb kings finecast wave in june

How did we get TK into this thread? Have i missed something? I cant see any info above that indicates a TK wave, As much as i would love one....

While I am not against Finecast (except the price). I would prefer to actual have something new for fantasy in june. A couple of plastic blisters or new finecast mini's for x army in example. Doesn't matter which army.

The swords were a serious PitA in metal as well. I can only see it as an improvement, saving me from further pinning. I already have 24, so I'm not sure if I'll pick up more, but the FC would have to be godaweful to be a step back compared to the metal ones...

yuck - as if Finecast wasn't bad enough for the prices and quality issues - but it gives GW a reason to keep around terrible old models like the harpies to boot :/

I think someone else brought this up before, there are no large unit Finecast, so not sure where everyone is getting that idea from.

I would say good chance Salamaders and Slann will be fine cast but the Witch Elves and Executioners will most likely be a plastic kit.

Someones an optimist Notice they're at the 5 model box set Finecast price range seen with Dark Eldar's Wracks and command is sold separately. It's pretty clear that they're the current models.

Could be that they are in finecast because metal stocks were running low, but they weren't ready for a plastic release. Look at the Hive Tyrant.

As for why all this in June? Filler, to cover Fantasy somewhat and go with plastic 40K fliers?

A 67% price jump just doesn't make sense, even in GW's standard .
But even if it's true, i'm still disappointed, i was expecting 3 shinny new multi part plastic kit box.

No, same size I'm afraid. And same miniatures.
If the rumours are correct, the plastics will turn up eventually*, so don't be disheartened by the finecasting. Think I'm going to have to pop to the pricing feedback thread and vent there, I was hoping to bulk up on executioners...

I totally expect it to not be a new model, but the one reason that can make me wish for a new one is that it'll be one of the worst Finecast kit around, maybe only second only to the Mangler Squig. Those tiny, already curved legs will just collapse under the weight of the body, and we'll end up with a belly crawler soon enough. Even the tail I can see it going lower and lower over time.

But with such an unpopular model (very few want to use them with the new book, and old TK players got all the Scorpions they need already), I just can't see a new mold for it.
