Don't like the blue colour scheme lol, but it does look nice.
It is £55, and out 25th May

How can this thing be 20 quid more expensive than the carmine dragon or ethan giant? Don't get me wrong, I thought the carmine dragon was on the cheap side but it's saddening to see FW back into the old price ranges again.

Maybe he thought Warpfire dragon which is 40, but that mangler together with idol of Gork are dissappointing releases on every point of view - pricewise, ruleswise, and aesthetics
Edit: I am curious why is he based so much on Warhammer online concept of squig....
I find it great that the Squig is on an Arachnarok base. From the Open Day I thought that's a chariot or maybe Screaming Bell base, but this way...I'll buy the Forest Goblin platform and some Gobbos and will use it as second Arachnarok.![]()

I think it's expensive 'cos it's literally a big, solid chunk of resin.
I'd like to see one on a mangler squig sized base (60mm?) Looks like you could maybe stick the one, ground-planted foot on it. You'd probably have to weigh the base down, but it could possibly make a decent mangler squig counts-as.
A Chaos Space Marine army may include Fabulous Bill.
Where did the FW faqs go?
I would actually be tempted to use it as a giant.
The price is pretty high though, and I'd sooner buy the dragon than this.

I think I will mount it on a 60mm base (use it as a counts as mangler) then mount that somehow on the big base to use in SoM, my rogue idol is my counts as giant. I certainly prefer this squig to the standard giant squig model, it seems more squiggy.
I like it, but I really have no use for it - and I don't like it enough to make it a display piece.
Looks better than what I remember seeing in earlier images - rather nice.
I don't like how flat is is, it wold have been better if it's been a ball, like all squigs should be. Shame because from the side it looks cool. Anyway it's got crap rules, it's too expensive, and I'm sick to death of night goblins themed stuff, so I'll pass for now, just as I did with the manglers.

I like! But then again, I'm a big fan of Squigs in general!
I really like it, I'll probably get one eventually but for the money I would prefer a Carmine dragon. I don't even play OnG, it is just my unholy love of squigs which makes me buy all the models. I think it could be bettere though, I'd prefer it to be more spheroid and I'm not so keen on the three sets of eyes.

I actually thought the rules and point cost were pretty decent. It really is just a BIG squig rules wise. Everything is scaled up from the Giant cave squig, and there aren't a ton of extraneous rules to follow.
The model is cool, I enjoy the squigs for what they are, but I will say I prefer the more 'human face' looking ones to these more 'reptilian' style things which the game has made popular. remember to not order him with a bunch of fragile stuff, as Warhammer Forge will most likely throw him in a bag, and the Mail man/woman/person will be tossing it around mercilessly. then you really can call him the Mangler squig.![]()
I'm sorry I'm the guy that loves the WAR squig. wonder if I can model a goblin riding in his mouth.

It looks like a massive blob of old plastercine. Not impressed at all.
The pose however is good.

But this just doesn't suit anything, I know they based it on the warhammer online squig, but it just looks awkwardly goofy. I think they should have gone for a more old, scared scaly beast, something like cross between skarniks gobbla and mulg the ancient from privateer press.
If anything it falls to the problem the exalted vermin lord did/has for me, it looks like a 3up of what should be a much smaller miniature, not a necessarily bad sculpt, it's the aesthetics whihc don't seem very well planned out. Which again is a shame, I do like Mark Bedfords sculpts, but this squig and the vermin lord just lack the charm which most large monstrous sculpt have.
