    A Lone Dwarf Berserker

I've had this Avatars of War Dwarf for a long time. Now I'm normally not a dwarf lover. I generally dislike all elves and dwarves, but the Avatars of War dwarves I do like. They are very nice looking miniatures, and heavily muscled.

I experimented greatly with the fleshtones, actually using a purple paint wash for everything in the shadows.

In hindsight, I should have used a different color for the cloth, too close to the goblin.

I think the red hair worked out pretty good. The bronze metallics got a good weathering, that is about 5 shades of different colors highlighted with a gold.
I also like how the goblin head came out.

Very nice, and I think what you have said sums the model up nicely. I like the detailing on the green cloth too. I like the model too, i've recently bought my first AoW models and have been quite impressed with the quality and sculpts.

I really enjoy the blood comming out of the chopped of goblin head.
But I personally think your gems don't really look thát shiny. A shiny gem would definitely give your model a higher Wow-factor.

    Anyway, nice paint job.

    EDIT:

    Sorry I double-posted, due to a really slow internet-connectivity...

I want to add something anyway: As you already mentioned, you are experimenting with flesh tones, and I'm actually quite surprised by the purple wash you use for the shadows. In some strange way it actually looks pretty natural.
