    Lore of Hashut, cataclysm spells

    So The lore of Hashut, great lore, we have binding scrolls for our Dawi Zharr creatures but no cataclysm spells.

    Have I missed a Warhammer forge faq or errata!

    Well, I guess you don't have cataclysm spells, but on the flipside the lore of hashut is absurdly useful. With the ashstorm spell I can just see the developers thinking "mhmm... yeah, -1 to hit in cc is nice,m but it only works for combat.. let's make it -2 to hit for shooting as well.. no, I think we should add some movement penalties too, the spell doesn't do anything against movement. No flying movement, marches or charges seems fitting, but that's a bit restricted, let's make moving dangerous terrain for them too. Hold on, the spell doesn't do anything at all against a wizard and his bunker standing still and casting magic, we'll restrict that to only being able to target himself.. You know, I still think something is missing.. It's not superuseful against multiwound models. Let's make the target flammable too, that's useful against pretty much anything and stacks nicely with the lore attribute and the flaming attacks left, right and center.."

    I mean come on, ashstorm does friking everything

    This was mentioned around here recently. Apparently FW have said that the Lore of Hashut should use the Dark Magic cataclysm spells and bonuses on the Storm of Magic spinner.

    Yeah I was having a pint with the bloke who wrote the rules in the pub and said they could use the metal AND shadow AND death cataclysm spells
