Seriously, we all get that Slaanesh is the ultimate gender-bender entity, we really don't need a discussion of the correct (non existent) phraseology for accurately describing that (what are we, a bunch of geeks sitting around arguing over a fictional universe?!).

Don't get me wrong, I only find the switching a personal preference. Something which shouldn't be allowed to interfere with clear communication. You have my utmost assurances that I am taking this discussion exactly as seriously as it's weighty nature deserves...

Sorry Slaanesh demands that your brain be overwhelmed by His/her glorious nature! In fact I fear the matter has been simplifed by only mentioning two genders, when in fact Slaanesh exhibits all Six genders found in the multiverse. The correct term is S/he/Glor/Xpi/thpt/Zflo.

You forgot han. A Starbridge race that starts out one gender and when it hits a "puberty" type event, becomes male or female. Talk about confusing.

My take:

Eldar are souls from the warp bound to crystalline bodies created by the Old Ones not unlike wraith bone or their soul stones. When excited adequately they risk tearing loose. The Slaanesh Phenomena was a psychic nuclear fission where trillions of Eldar tore free of their corporeal fetters from the excesses of their passions. Slaanesh Are the Eldar unbound.
