Pretty good on the second list, a couple of thoughts.

- Lose Anrakyr for just a vanilla overlord with a warcythe. You can't use his special MitM while embarked and you'll want to be moving fast enough not to use his tachyon arrow anyway. Also, after several games with anrakyr walking with as a foot lord, the pyrihhan immortals are just not that great. You don't want them in combat, believe me, as they are still swept easily.

- Some people like sezras, I don't personally. You can get a destruction cryptek for much cheaper and his "enhancements arn't really worth the points

- I'd get a destruction cryptek for each of your warrior squads, they can shoot out of the top and they bring great anti-tank firepower. Your immortals can also use some long range attacks as well. These attacks will also really benefit from the triarch stalkers TLing ability.

- I personally find 3 wraiths too small, Id go 5 or 6 or go home.

Thanks for the info Buddha777! I was looking into getting a few crypteks. I just have one question tho: Tesla or Guass for your immortals? I guess that goes for the Tomb blades as well.

Great idea, but cant use his power in the barge, so that makes him bit rubbish really.
IMHO Overlords are overpriced, especially if you just want one to unlock Crypteks. That is one expensive key.
Consider an Destroyer lord with mindshackle scarabs. Maybe an Orb and Semp Weave if you have the points. Treat him like a monstrous creature with better movement.

HQ- Illuminor szeras (walking with the immortals)

This depends on your own view, and on your view of his model. If you like him, keep him. He is actually OK (IMHO) for the points.

EL- Triarch Stalker: Heat Ray

Love the model, not convinced on the rules. It just seems a bit slow for me. I'm not sure it fits well with your list. Again, just my honest opinion.

Nothing wrong with these. Solid, long lasting. Exactly what necron troops should be.

TR- 10 Immortals: Tesla Carbines, Mechanical Augmentation

Again, nothing wrong with this. Tesla is great for your Immortals, as your Warriors and Arks have got gauss covered.

FA- 9 Scarab Swarms

Again, nothing wrong with this!
This is gonna be shot at a lot in the first 2 turns. That is not a bad thing as it means they aren't shooting your other units

FA- 3 Wraiths: Whip coils

Nice distraction unit. No complaints. If you have the points you could make them all unique for wound allocation fun.

FA- 5 Tomb Blades: Guass Blasters, Nebuloscopes

The Gauss Blasters are already Twin Linked, so dont need the Nebuloscopes. Try Particle Beamers and Nebuloscopes. S6 small blasts with B5 for greater accuracy is made of awesome-sauce. If template fun is not your thing, take off the nebuloscopes.

HV- Annihilation Barge

I know the internet and his life partner love this. There is a reason. It is very good.

HV- Doomsday Ark

This is a bit marmite - you love it or you hate it. I love it. Big templates of death everywhere.

HV- Doom Scythe

Not a fan. Too fragile even if the new model is made of win. I would use the points for another Doomsday Ark.

Hope that helps with the list.
Last thing to say is - look for unity/symetry/partnerships etc. The Necron codex has many good combos, and things that complement each other.

ive only played 4 games with my necrons, and i love the traveler. he himself has a warscythe. of course you have 2 royal courts in the army(unless youre crazy) so you add a gaze of flame cryptek and lord with rezorb/warscythe into a unit or two. something charges you, they dont get +1A for charging. you do with counterassault, and you have 8 warscythe attacks at I2. sure by themselves immortals will get swept, but with a lord and overlord in the unit with warscythes, it very much evens the playing field against marine tac squads.

as for your army lists, i would haveta agree alot with the sandman.
triarch stalker=meh(although i always bring one)
annihilation barges= TL tesla is win(even when you shoot your own units, its just funny)
doomsday ark makes you cry when you deviate 5 inches in theory it should nuke any termies, which you might have trouble with
i've never tried tomb blades, so idk.
immortals with tesla carbines+cant say enough about how awesome at shooting units to pieces these guys are. i often get 2 sixes each time i roll to hit=4 bonus hits-see barge notes above
