I have just been adding a bit to my existing US infantry platoon using Vallejo paints and have posted a quick step-by-step guide on the RoE blog.

Thanks Stuart,
my biggest problem though is with german heer, do you use german field grey (which looks just too green) for main uniform. just film & pics dont seem to show that colour always (battle grey)?
any advice welcome
I use Vallejo German Fieldgrey for my late war Germans and am very happy with it. Adding white to the colour for highlights tones the subtle green in the colour slightly. An option to keep the colour a bit brighter (newer) would be to add Vallejo Green Grey to the main colour for highlights.
