Yep, mine will carry the battle axe of the last Waaagh! 100 pts for+D6 str and attacks, yes please

When are the O&G plastics being released btw, I'm guessing it won't be a week Saturday because the preorders for that week (40k flyers) are already on the GW website.

16 June. 2 weeks after the fliers.

Good on GW. Making some ace little models like this. I believe though that this little fella will cost me 2 hours of my works worth. So instead I believe its to the drawing board to convert myself up something like this.

The savage orc boss is something I need to see as a 360 degree view before I can judge it properly. Looks a tad out of proportion. But none the less they both look ace.

I like him a lot... I hate his pricetag!

I like the shaman, very basic but sometimes less is more. Not so keen on the warboss, but I'm not really a fan of tthe blocky savage orcs...

I do like these single sprue plastics they're coming out with. Are there any more on the horizon at all, rumour finders?

Out of a minimum of 24, I think there are still 8 or 11 unaccounted for right now.

Maybe some of it, but also I think it is a way to get closer to the goal of all plastic models.

If that was the case: where are the bazillion Dwarf characters?

I have my doubts with this theory, as the plastic characters are simply a convenient method to release heroes for all armies. AoW or not. What I can agree on is that they do a pretty fine job with it.

Bah, all the plastic characters just went up in price to £9.

Typical GW, they just can't bear to have to have anything at all in their entire model range which even comes close to looking like a good deal, it might slip under their radar for a year or 2, but eventually the price will get jacked up.

But £8 for a plastic figure doesn't look close to a good deal. I remember when plastic figures cost £1 each (as part of box sets). WHile I appreciate that one-offs need to cost more, an 800% surcharge seems very steep.

I made a couple of videos of these new plastic Orcs and Goblins models, unboxings and with assembled models. http://www.youtube.com/user/bewareofthephil - they're here if you're interested in seeing them.

The models are quite nice, but I still think that lack of options is a step back.
