thanks, as to the statue i cut the bottom step off so it shows better in the recess and can be taken out for painting, talking of painting i am going to do each peice seperate before putting together will make it a bit easier

firstly sorry for not updating but been away from the hobby for a bit, but, i have started again on the palace, the 2 large widowed towers that will stand beside the gates did not look right with the support blocking the view of the space marine statue so i have cut it away and looks much better lined the inner walls with gothic stone plastikard, made a floor for top and covered that in plastikard tiles, now in process of battle damaging it and will get on with painting it, the windows will have see through stained glass windows in with lights inside

thanks, will make any other walls in the same style so all ties in, have made a start on painting this tower it's going to have stained glass windows in and lights in the towers to illuminate them and on the space marine, will update when done of course
