Machanicaly Augmented Pyrrhian Eternals. Possable or not?

Was reading through the army lists forum and I cam across a list that had a unit of Pyrrhian Eternals that had been Mechanicaly Augmented by Illuminor Szeras.

I was under the impression that Anrakyr's Pyrrhian Eternals are not Immortals but just use their profile, points and options. p62 Codex Necrons. This would stop them from being elagable for the Mechanical Augmentation given by Szeras. p56 Codex Necrons.

So am I right or wrong. Don't want to have to come across this in a game and start an argument over it.
I'll think of something appropriate soon enough to put here.

Two things. First, the rules tells us to treat them exactly as Immortals, but with counterattack/furios charge.
Second, the page next to Anrakyrs page has a battle where Szeras has improved Anrakyrs Immortals.
RAW and RAI, I think they can be augmented.

Yes they can be augmented by Szeras, but why would you ever take Szeras? Just put Arankyr on a barge and watch your opponent weep.

For Sweep? A cheaper Overlord could do it too. Mind in the Machine needs you to be out of your Barge, doesn't it?
