Sort of old news, but while deliberating whether or not to make a comment regarding the overpriced nature of GW products - I looked over at my shelf of things yet to do and looked upon a few of these.

It is the dragon from the movie Dragonslayer - so if you like that, then you have this. Otherwise, it is a big dragon model which would work well with any number of game systems...or just as a display piece.

The model is listed as being 6 1/2" tall, but that doesn't really provide enough information. Although I haven't assembled any of my kits yet - measuring along the back of the tail, body, neck and head this guy is almost a foot and a half long. The wing span would be a good 2 feet across if he weren't in a crouched bat like position. The head is almost 2 inches long with over an inch of it being an open mouth.

The only really downside is the material (though opinions do vary regarding that). The model is vinyl, pretty common for larger scale figures of this type. While it is more durable than most resins, many people are not a huge fan of it. Regular CA glue works fine, some people use special vinyl glues. The only really important thing to remember is don't use enamel primer on the vinyl - it ends up being paint that will never dry (well, it will eventually - but it can take a month or two).

Anywho, if you are looking for a big dragon on a budget this is a nice alternative to tracking down things like the McFarlane dragons. List is a bit over $60, but you can find them for $45 without trying too hard.
