It could be, all I was told was 'WoC witch, at least I think it was WoC, might have been an Elf release. But I don't think so'. The reumourmonger I checked with said he believed he was told the WoC chaacter may be female.

Ahh makes sense cluesoe, elf in chaos armor? I think it would eat them or break them.
It wouldn't be the first Elf in Chaos Armour. The Cult of Slaanesh had Lord choices, Anointed I think they were called in English. Quite mighty individuals blessed by Slaanesh, but still partly Elf...
I could imagine this as well, if you look at the Unmarked Sorcerer - he is quite slender as well and no way as bulky as some other WoC models. Looking forward to it.![]()
Hmmm, I just can't see them making a female WoC character (apart from Valkia). A hermaphrodite Slaaneshi champion, possibly, but fully female Lord/ Sorcerer/ Witch? Unlikely, in my opinion. Chaos Elf, even less so. Sounds like a bit of a pipe-dream.
Mat Ward Fact #64001- Mat Ward has been described as willowy with elven features.
It isn't a Chaos Elf, I've been over that. There is a slim chance it is a character for a different Elf range and not for WoC. Female Chaos Lords/Witches aren't exaclty unprecedented in the background either, there was a champion of Khorne in one of the early Gotrek and Felix novels and someone mentioned a WoC/Chaos witch in one of the Bretonnian stories.

Yeah, they crop up quite a lot in background and books, but as for an actual "on the table" look for WoC, they tend to go for muscles and spikes. I'm not disputing the existence of female chaos champions (I'm sure the Ruinous Powers are probably more "Equal Opportunity" than most races), I'm just stating that I think it'd be unlikely that they'd produce more than one female model for WoC at this time.

Well I don't disagree, when he first told me I dismissed it as my source telling me things he thought I'd like. But I asked one of the more reliable rumourmongers around about it and he said he believed he was told the WoC character was actually female and mentioned a sculpt of Valkia the Bloody.

Nice, October is my birthday so good timing! I probably won't buy much with the WoC release, but it will be good to see updated rules and see the direction of the army. Should get the models I have finished and painted ready to go.
Chaos has always been about Equal Opportunity Corruption. The Realm of Chaos did away with the glass ceiling when they realised they could get twice as many delicious souls this way :P
Seriously though...there's been no end of talk of witches in lore so surely having one serving Chaos would work out great to my mind. It could be a hairy old Norse shaman or one of those Slaaneshi cultists from way back, either way a 'witch' could work. Would love to see this when it's released.
I think GW has been a lot more open-minded in catering to the genders between the end of last year and this year. If you look at the Dark Eldar release they made sure that both male and female models were represented evenly in the release. The Warriors were male/female on a 6/4 of 10 and the Wyches were male/female on a 4/6 of 10. Then with Vampire Counts The only choices for generic vampire lords or heroes are a male vampire with a wing for an arm or a female vampire, plus the Coven Throne is covered in female vampires. I think a female WoC in armor would be awesome and I would love the conversion option to potentially turn them into a Vampire.
Tread lightly in the Hunger Woods, Vampires lay claim to that accursed forest.
Ever heard of Dechala? Or maybe seen some classic models like this one:

Female WoC are rare, but they've been done before.
