A female marauder-style chaos witch would be great. The Sigvald novel had a female witch and a female marauder who was 'gifted' visions, both were interesting characters and both would lend themselves to nice miniatures.

That one was based on a John Blanche White Dwarf cover, IIRC.

baww.. I really hope you're wrong about the elf not being a chaos elf (); when I heard armoured female chaos elf my mind jumped straight to a certain character from the Malus Darkblade series. Actually, the two leaders of the

Warriors of chaos are heavily recruited from Norse and "mongol" tribes, there are not all that much ethnological fluff about tribes such as the Hung and other "mongol" inspires tribes but a great deal for the Norse.
For instance the female Norse are "masters" of the household much like the Scandinavian inspiration. They were not going to war or skirmishes.
Therefore other than the odd character i do not see that much grounds for many female WOC models.

I would really like to see more female minis in the WOC army. I have been considering converting some Chaos Warriors with sisters of battle heads. There where actually more Scandinavian woman raider than you might think. Still not many though...check this out:

Other than the note about fantasy 'breast' plates being daft, that is all junk.

Not in this forum, maybe Black Library. That seems positive, and would appear to imply Egrimm might make a reappearance.

That wouldn't be bad at all. He was certainly a more interesting Tzeentchian character than Villitch the Bland.

Rumination: With the new Empire Griffon superkit that makes Karl Franz as well as a generic General/Wizard Lord, and our own rumours of getting a new Chaos Dragon kit, could it be possible that Van Horstmann might be included with said Dragon?

Seems like a logical (and let us hope eventually factually accurate) assumption.

    Re: WoC titbit

    It sounds likely.

On a tangent, has there been any news about an updated Marauder kit?
I am currently looking to shift a sizeable amount of Chaos Space Marine models, including Dark Vengeance Cultists/Chosen/Helbrute/Lord, Fantasy Chaos Knights, a Dark Apostle, Fantasy (Finecast) Chaos Lord, Warp Talons, Possessed and painted models with Forge World parts. Send me a message if you're interested!
