    Re: Finecasts in June

    Thanks for the info!
I`ve never bought finecast, heard a lot of bad things about it, so do you think its better for me to buy metal ones in the place where I live for 14 pounds for normal 5 men, 20 pounds for command group(I`m talking about executioners)?
Do you know any prices by the way?

I´d recommend to buy the metal version as the failcast variants will be ~67% more expensive.

Thanks, it`s just that the metal ones over here seem to be as expensive as finecast ones in the UK, unless they put the same price tag on the command group as on the SM vets

So that's how it feels to laugh and cry at the same time.

Oh I just noticed that goblin chariots are on the list. That makes me sad considering it probably means that the rumors of plastic wolf chariots are false.

Are they direct only or inshop wares?

Great.. Another bunch of models I will now never buy... Always wanted executioners but never had the disposable income... E-bay then.

No Finecast Slann? This is disappointing, since it's the lizardmen model that needs the treatment more. That fat toad is too heavy for the thin flying sticks!

At least we have kroxis and terradons much more light and less likely to suffer from falls and scrapes!

PS Yes finecast-haters, I'm a finecast fan! Live with it!

That's good, since you should have no problem being in competition with others regarding buying them. There will be PLENTY to go around.

I am also not against finecast. The ones I bought (not so many) like new empire WP are imo very good. I haven't painted him yet, only assembled. Also straightning of the hammers was no problem. Now I am testing the melting issue. It's around 26° in Belgium and he is still in a fine shape.

Finecast is ok, I find it better than metal. But it still need improvements. The price increases are a scandel. No problem if they increase the price, but than I expect 'NEW' minis and not recasts.

I have no issue with NEW sculpts being done in Finecast. What I take issue with are perfectly fine older metal sculpts being re-done and then being charged more for them. I think that's insane quite frankly.

Either way not a fan of finecash, but if they were to make all plastic, id be happy
Over GWs Australian pricing policy, charging us more then 50% for that same product compared to most others? Sick of GW charging more for resin then metal??? WTF only in GW world would this be fair, cheaper product to produce, should be cheaper when selling

    Haters gonna hate.

I use 2mm brass rod for my slann. Theres nothing of interest in that list for me, but I still have few finecast hellcannons to buy so can't complain.

I don't have a problem with it either. I bought 2 packs of FC Flamers of Tzeentch, and they were absolutely perfectly cast -- no air bubbles or distortion. The idea of FC Executioners sounds good to me -- even with the price increase. I currently have a unit of 24, and I pinned all, and I mean all of their Draichs, and it was a serious PitA. FC Executioners should be a breeze in comparison (all other things being equal).
