    Re: KoW hardback book - your questions answered

    The gain in points used to be simply double the previous value minus a little. It's now far more focused on whether there is a gain in nerve or nerve and attacks. A gain in nerve only sees a much smaller increase. A gain in nerve and attacks is double minus a bit still (more or less, there are bound to be a few discrepancies).

    So, for the sake of reference, what are the costs now for TK Spearmen?

    Thanks to everyone that replied to my questions about the greenskins background (both here and on the mantic forums) but I had forgotten to say thanks whilst caught up with work!

    Do the dwarves still have the option for spearmen? Do they have the same stats / points cost?

    I'm thinking of assembling some dwarves as them
    Thanks!

    That reminds me, are Ironclad Troops less than 95? They were the same price as Bulwark Troops before, which meant Bulwark Troops got the cavalry/flyer bonus free, making taking Ironclad troops pointless

    Maybe I missed it (search didn't turn up anything), but are there any alterations to Fight Wagons/Gore Chariots? Since the models are coming soon, I figured I might as well see what I'm comparing to before I go overboard.

    No change to either that I can see.

    Three Undead queries:

    * Its been mentioned that mummies have their points reduced. What do they cost now? In the old set they were rather pricey and now Mantic is producing them through Kickstarter I m wondering if they are worth it.

    * Are the Werewolves unchanged?

    * The Soul Reavers apparently lost their bloodbath rule did they Gain anything else or is it just a point reduction.

    Re: KoW hardback book - your questions answered

    Hi
    I am having a bit of a job deciding on which army to play and have been trying to work through the pros and cons ( for me ) of a few armies based on what we know from 2nd ed rules and lists.

    I have a question about Orcs in the new version please

    I see from your previous posts that the units are still in multiples of 5 wide - will they still be on 25mm basing - ie will they be a 125mm wide unit where everything else ( infantry wise ) is 100mm wide ?

    I'm pretty sure mattjgilbert posted either on here or on the Mantic forum that the units of 30 and 40 are going to be 10 wide. So unit footprint would be 250mm wide and either 75mm or 100mm deep.
