    Anyone here speak Nostraman?

Having just finished excellent Void Stalker I'm more curious as to what the line of Nostraman says in Epilogue Secundus. Anyone found out, or deduced it?

It means Sons of our father, stand in midnight clad. We bring the night. The exact words are used in Soul Hunter, as well. Septimus translates them for Octavia there.

Well spotted! I thought the transmission ended with the crew turning to chaos but that implies the Night Lords found em!

The only issue I've got is if the 'Prophet' is 'Decimus' what the hell happened to Ninthimus!

It has been covered so many times on this forum as everyone forgets him, its Nonus and he died near the end of Blood Reaver.

Ah yea. It was over a year ago I read the first two so I'd forgotten that. Thanks, I feel more satisfied with the ending now!

    Re: Anyone here speak Nostraman?

When I read The Primarchs novel and they went on with the whole Nostraman, sounding like "the garbled hissing of a snake"
It seemed like someone had been reading a little too much Harry Potter and decided to make Konrad Kurze join Slytherin
We might as well start a thread on, if the primarchs were in the Harry Potter universe, which house would the sorting hat have put them in?

Was Slytherin your first thought, when you heard of the snake imagery? Not the Biblical offerer of temptation, or the sign of Aesclepius (Greek god of healing - the symbol of the snakes is still used in medicine today)?

Why would it stop being cool then?

I would always discuss the merits of the Blood God and the Eight Pointed Path with evangelicals who visit my door in college. It was great fun.

Getting back to the Night Lords - Since the 13th Black Crusade has in fact occurred in "our time" and was "successful" in some sense of the word, does anyone have access to the post-EoT reports? I'm curious as to whether ADB's work incorporated the events spelled out there when Decimus goes over his visions.

Secondly, Jain-Zarr is a busy one, isn't she?

Well, I do see your point. Something does have to be cool in the first place in order to stop being cool.

Only if somebody came up with some actual Nostraman script....Then I'd consider it.
