Hi guys, just a quickie. Can an immobilised dreadnought/walker run down and kill a unit it defeats in close combat?

I don't have the rule book on hand but I really don't think so, and I've never seen this argued one way or another. In short: No.
If its immobilized it fights as normal in close combat but cannot pursue.
While it would make sense that it cannot pursue, the rules would actually allow it to do so. So the RAWanswer is yes, an immobilized Dread can perform a sweeping advance.

Fortunately there iis a rule that adresses this. BrB page 73, last paragraph of "Walkers and Assaults".
+1 to TGD. Walkers don't do SA when immobilised or stunned.
I'll be, never noticed that before. I stand corrected. No Sweep if stunned or immobilized.

It was pretty much common sense really anyway. No legs means no running.

Oooo never knew about it not being able to sweep when stunned too.
