Greetings all. The following army list is what I plan to start my Dark Eldar force off with. It's to be my first real, usable, fully painted army in Warhammer 40,000 and I'm actually really pumped about it. I've taken a some time to come up with what I think will be a pretty solid starting point for me, and I'm quite happy with the looks of it as it stands. That said, I'm sure it couldn't hurt to have some of you take a look and perhaps let me know what you think of it. I really don't need a "tournament list" at the moment, but rather a nice, solid, and effective list that should serve me well on gaming nights, and that's what I've strove for here. Anyway, by all means let me know what you think, I'm always super happy and grateful for feedback of any kind, good or bad!40K Army: Dark Eldar

So that's it. Like I said, I'm pretty certain it's not necessarily what most would consider an optimal or tournament style list, but I'm definitely cool with that. More than cool with that, in fact. It's got some fun, cool elements in it, like the Webway portal, which I think is great...not to mention I ordered a couple suitable looking Warhammer Storm of Magic vortex templates GW made a limited release of off of Ebay, and am dead set on making use of themI also like the thought of the Wyches, accompanied by the Talos (and maybe even the Reavers...?), storming through the portal after it's been set up in a, hopefully, rather nasty spot for the enemy.
It's got some fun, I'm currently working on adding more character in terms of names for the units/characters/etc., and thanks to the new How To Paint Citadel Miniatures book, I've got an awesome guideline on how to paint them up. Things are seemingly looking pretty good for this new Commorite...
Let me know what you think, and thanks for reading.
