I would like to firstly introduce myself to everyone on the board, as an avid Warhammer gamer and fan I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing my gaming and fanfic stuff.
Over the past couple of months; myself and a small group of Warhammer fans like you have been bringing the Warhammer world to life through the power of Minecraft. I wanted to make this thread to introduce you to the world of HammerCraft! The first fully RPG Warhammer world server that’s made for the fans by the fans! I also must make clear that we have been creating the entire world; this means you can visit every Warhammer location, always wanted to journey to the Mountains of Mourn? Well now you can
Let me stop babberling and get to the point.
What is HammerCraft?
HammerCraft is a based on portraying the Warhammer Fantasy IP using the Minecraft engine. We are here to give players a true Warhammer experience.
How does it Work?
Each player picks his/her faction, from then on they fight for that faction. The starting factions will be Chaos, Dwarves, Orcs, and Empire (The more people we get the more factions we will add). Each will have a capital city where players can purchase items, have jobs and trade with other players. Each faction will have a fort on the outskirts of their land, the server mod & admins will organise weekly PVP battles between different races for the capture of these forts, winning a fort from another race will give the winning faction great bonuses on and off the battlefield. Each Race has a start package and bonuses that set them apart from other race.
Anyway, enough talk! Below are two preview videos that show some of the builds we’ve been doing, nothing is final but it gives you an insight to what we’re trying to create.
