    Sanguinor

    Dante

    - 1 storm shield
    - 1 infernus pistol
    - jump packs

    Sanguinary Guard

    Stormraven
    - lascannons
    - typhoon launcher

    Stormraven
    - lascannons
    - typhoon launcher

    Landspeeders X 2
    - typhoon launcher

    Vindicator

    Assault Squad X 2
    - 8 men
    - power fist

    Death company
    - 5 men
    - 2 power weapons

    Chaplain

    Land Raider

    Total: 2009

Deployment: Everything on the table except the Sanguinor + sanguinary guard, the honour guard + Dante. Assault squads in the stormravens, Death company and chaplain in the land raider.

The idea is that the vindicator, land raider, stormravens and landspeeders (8 krak missiles, 8 bloodstrike missiles, 4 twin linked lascannons, demolisher cannon) overwhelm anything that will be a threat to the alpha strike sanguinary guard and death company. Break open transports and kill high toughness/armour like Monstrous Creatures or dreadnaughts.

Dante + honour guard deploy right behind whatever vehicle remains after the two turns of firepower (so landraider, monoliths, artillery, anything that isn't dead)

Obviously playing to destroy the enemy, although the sanguinary guard are of course scoring with Dante.

Not bad except that 8 men Assault squads can't fit in a stormraven- assault marines count as two slots in transport, so the max you can have is six in a stormraven.

I would give the DC and Chaplain jump-packs and have them ride Stormraven instead.
The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry. - Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms

Thanks, I'll definitely drop the size of the assault squads. I kind of feel like jump packs for the death company is just too pricey - especially seeing as, within this list, they wouldn't be very effective. The death company are designed to sit in the Land Raider until late game, by which time the enemy will either be closer or the Land Raider will be closer.

Storm Raven's are awesome, very underrated. I run a similar type of list, although it's only got 1 storm raven, and is full of baals. Very very mobile. Looks good to me!

btw you are 9 points over. Shouldn't be a problem though when you remove your extra marines in the Storm Raven.

why wouldnt you put your dc in a storm raven, put an assault squad int he land raider, save yourself 35 points, and have a scoring landraider?
