    Weapons X2 Question

Hi I am abit confused about how this rule actually works, for an example The Achilles Landraider has Twin Linked Multimelta x2 or the rare Ares Landraider has Twin Linked Heavy Flamers x2.. this X2 does that mean it has two guns in each sponsoon or ?

    thanks in advance.

    Re: Weapons X2 Question

It means the sponsons are two separate weapons systems, so one weapon destroyed will not kill both.

I think he is asking if you get two meltaguns for each sponson or just one each side. If in doubt use the WYSIWYG rule. if it has two each side then it is two each side.

    Re: Weapons X2 Question

It just means there are two instances of the weapon on the vehicle. TL MultiMelta X2 means there are two pair of weapons, a Twin-Linked MultiMelta on the right sponson, and another on the left.

The Ares has 2x Twin-Linked Heavy Flamers and the Achilles has 2x Twin-Linked MultiMeltas, just like how the standard Land Raider has 2x Twin-Linked Lascannons.

As for what twin linked means, you will have to look at your rule book.

If you do not have one, then do not buy one, as they are about (3 weeks time) to be updated

One ring Book to rule them all, one ring place to find them, One ring Codex to bring them all, and in the Darkness future bind them. Time for the unified Marine Codex.
